The new #TIDE Eco Series from Luminox uses 100% recycled material for the case strap and bezel. the 200m water resistant case and bezel are made with #TIDE materials while the strap is made from recycled PET plastic. #TIDE Ocean materials are made 100% from ocean-bound plastic found in the Andaman Sea off the coast of Thailand by local fisherman. The materials are then broken down to their base particles via a sustainable and sophisticated process. These particles are treated, cleaned and then shredded so that they can be injected, just like the plastic it once was. This whole process helps to reduce the impact on the planet, clean up the ocean and offer a regular income to those involved. The watch uses a Swiss made, precision quartz movement and is another lucky benefiter of the Luminox Light Technology (LLT) to ensure that the watch is totally legible in low or zero light conditions, meaning you never have to rely on an exterior light source to charge it. The 8900 Series watch features a blue wave textured dial to match the blue #TIDE strap.
